Career Events

I consider myself fortunate to have appeared on some of Irelands most highly rated television programmes.
I have been interviewed on national, commercial and local radio. I have also been photographed and interviewed for many national and local newspapers and also a broad range of magazines. {For more details refer to media exposure}.

In June of this year 2003, the Special Olympics were held here in Ireland. It was the first time that this event was hosted outside of the U.S.A. I gave seven performances during this ten-day occasion including a solo show for the Russian delegates upon their arrival in Ennis Co. Clare.
The five performances that I gave in Dublin were memorable for me, especially the shows that I gave at the Royal Dublin Society {R. D. S.}. It was such a profound experience dancing for and meeting these unique special athletes from all around the world. Some of my pupils took part in three of these shows and throughally enjoyed the experience.

My Bellydance Ireland troupe and I were invited to perform in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin on the 17th March 1998. We were part of an “Arabian Nights” pageant, which was one of the most colourful highlights of the parade that year. An estimated 300 million viewer saw this WORLDWIDE. It was the very first time that bally dancer appeared in the parade.

Bellydance Ireland was featured again in the St. Patrick’s Day Carnival of March 1999. One of these shows featured Tunisian dance, Flamenco and a little Irish dancing to illustrate the connection between all three styles of dance.
I also gave several public performances during the 1998 "People in Need" Telethon, the biggest annual charity fundraising event in Ireland.

I have performed as a solo artist, at the Bride of the Year Show, the Mind Body Spirit Festival and the Natural living Exhibition. I was the first belly dancer to appear at these events. You have probably guessed by know that I enjoy breaking new ground and bringing Bellydance into areas where it has never been before!!
I enjoyed dancing at the Holiday World Experience in February 2003. I perform at Corporate Events and Theme Nights and love family occasions such as weddings and children’s parties.
