Welcome
to Valerie’s
world of Bellydance Ireland. I am a professional Egyptian and Oriental
bellydancer based here in Dublin, Ireland.
I perform and teach a wide range of authentic bellydance
styles - Egyptian (Baladi, Saidi & Stick, Classical &
Veil,
cymbals), Turkish, Gulf, Moroccan, Brazilian, Greek, some Tunisian folk
and Persian. I also dance Flamenco and Sevilleanas and upon request
will perform to Bollywood music. I have appeared many
times on national television and have been featured on radio shows and
in quite a number of magazines and newspapers (national and local). I
would like to express here, my gratitude to the great Farida Fahmy who
has given me some private tuition and also to Hossam and Serena Ramzy,
from whom I have learnt so much. As a dancer, I have performed in
Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Greece, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), the
UK and of course here in Ireland. Bellydance Ireland
offers a high standard of performance and tuition. I perform at
cultural, corporate and commercial events, family celebrations incl.
wedding/hen parties, birthdays etc. and festivals in Ireland and
abroad.
I am a qualified dance
teacher and am a member of the Association of Professional Dancers in
Ireland (A.P.D.I), as well as being a full member of Irish Actors
Equity. |
